Responsibilities
·
Client relationship
management
·
Review all
documentation to assure that they contain all required information
·
Check AML/CTF
requirements including KYC, and escalation (where appropriate) to the Chief
Risk Officer
·
Opening new accounts,
deposit or withdrawals for customers
·
Managing deposit
related matters from clients
·
Processing of retail
FX requests and wire transfers
·
Customer queries and
complaints handling (complaints may, in some cases, need to be escalated to the
Chief Risk Officer to be dealt with under the formal complaints handling
procedure)
Competencies
·
Experience in
settlements/back office roles in a bank
·
Hands-on experience in
using systems such as SWIFT and RITS
·
Sound understanding of
the full suite of deposit products
·
Cash handling and
customer service experience
·
High level of
attention to detail
·
Excellent verbal and
written communication skills
·
Extensive knowledge of
the local banking environment
·
Advanced computer
skills
·
Possess an
understanding of Sydney Branch's risk appetite, the sources of potential
·
Business risk, and the
action required to manage risks and escalate risk awareness.
·
Ensure any relevant
KPIs and business targets are met in a manner that is consistent and
·
Aligned with Sydney
Branch's risk appetite
·
Korean Speaking required
